High-speed motor use problem 1 – can high-speed motors be directly used at 50HZ

Case: A woodworking customer upgrades the design of the woodworking four-sided saw, and chooses YSA high-speed motor as the cutting station to improve the efficiency of its equipment and improve the quality of the end face of the product. However, when the customer chooses the motor driver , because it was the first time I came into contact with a high-speed motor, and did not read the instruction manual in detail, I directly said that the default inverter output terminal was connected and then powered on for use. After the motor was found to run for a few seconds, the inverter would alarm for overload and could not be used normally.
Reason: High-speed motors are used for cutting conditions, generally cutting wood or aluminum profiles, and most of them use a speed range of 6000-12000. The rated frequency of the fixed high-speed motor should be 100HZ-200HZ. However, most of the motors that our customers come into contact with are models corresponding to 50HZ, so the default rated frequency of the inverter is 50HZ, which is not suitable for actual high-speed motors. . The problems that may be caused are 1. After starting the alarm for a few seconds, it cannot be used. 2. The motor is directly overheated, and the rotor coil or stator coil is burned.
Solution: Find the rated motor frequency and rated motor speed in the motor parameter group of the inverter, and set accurate parameter values according to the corresponding high-speed motor nameplate, so that the inverter can have correct and accurate output parameters to drive high speed motor
